ICE puede estar en tu puerta, \u00bfqu\u00e9 hacer?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Control de Aduanas (ICE, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) lleva a cabo arrestos y operativos en diversas comunidades. A veces, sus agentes llegan sin previo aviso a los hogares de personas indocumentadas o con procesos migratorios pendientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conoce tus derechos ante ICE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cuando ICE toca tu puerta, es fundamental que sigas estos principios b\u00e1sicos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. No abras la puerta<\/strong> \u2013 A menos que tengan una orden judicial firmada por un juez, no est\u00e1n autorizados a ingresar sin tu consentimiento.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Pide que pasen la orden por debajo de la puerta<\/strong> \u2013 Una orden administrativa de ICE (formularios I-200 o I-205) NO<\/strong> les da derecho a entrar sin tu permiso.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Guarda silencio<\/strong> \u2013 No est\u00e1s obligado a responder preguntas sobre tu estatus migratorio ni a proporcionar informaci\u00f3n personal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. No firmes nada sin un abogado<\/strong> \u2013 ICE puede intentar hacerte firmar documentos que podr\u00edan afectar tu caso.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Graba la interacci\u00f3n si es posible<\/strong> \u2013 En muchos estados, tienes derecho a grabar en tu propiedad.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Una orden judicial v\u00e1lida debe tener:
